I suppose it all depends on which side of the concours/modified debate that you stand.
I don't want a BMW, but when a part needs replacing and there is a better non-standard part available at a reasonable price it is very tempting, obviously too tempting for me as I've just bought the BMW part.
My car was never and will never be concours so my conscience is clear
PS My wife is quite car friendly (no crude jokes please) so it makes these things easier!

personally don't like beemers coz if you go anywhere on two wheels they are the most often make, thats inconsiderate, used to be volvos in the 80- early 90'sbut bms have had the mantle eversince, plus are they not just **** Cortinas?
