    Seat Belt Binnacle

Last night at the N&N we had a competition for 'Best Car in the Club' during this viewing of the cars a gentleman told me that the buttons on my seat belt binnaclewere incorrect and should have been white with red writing and not white with black writing.

Now the NS one is the original that came with the car and the OS one is off another Stag. So can anybody out there confirm what the correct button colours should be?

I am not into this concourse thing but just want something to discuss next meeting!

      Stuart,

I believe there have been several types fitted over the years. My last one had black buttons with white writing. Majority seem to be red with white writing. I have also seen white with black writing, but cannot remember seeing white with red writing.

No doubt someone will have photos to prove me wrong :P:P

Yes that was the one who was shocked to see blue leads and told me I should change at once to the correct green leads!

I do happen to agree with the gentleman on this issue as I have had the blue style fail due to the carbon fibre inside cracking before and I also think the green one's look a lot better than the blue.

I have been checking some photo's of various stags and they all have different types of seat belt fixings and colours so I don't understand how he came to the assumption that all stags should have the same binnacle as the next one?

My Mk 1 has the one piece with red buttons/black lettering - however the black lettering could be due to dirt
