    "Mystery water puddle"

Found a mystery puddle under the front of the car, level with the front of the cross member, did not look like anti frezze or taste like it, no leaks on water system (no water loss), (water being sucked back into system when cold).

Would it be from the breather that comes from the carbs down the timing cover?

    102.jpg103.jpgwhat do you think boys

    Cheers again in advance

Only if it's petrol, that's an overflow pipe, in case the float chambers flood, you need to identify the fluid eg oil, water, tqf, brake fluid, windscreen washer fluid, petrol. you don't own a cat do you ?? Graham

the front pipe from carbs is petrol not water.
please don't taste antifreeze don't think its good for you
maybe its the washer bottle or condensation, should not worry too much, mop it up and see if it appears again

Did you operate windscreen washer before you put Stag to bed?
Water could have run down wing channels to fall front of bonnet leading edge.

Definately don't get hooked on the antifreeze. We see enough cats and dogs through work that like that sweet taste and lick it up from the driveway or wherever, and end up in kidney failure. Awful to watch.
