    2 stags in 1 day....

First stag I saw today, Russet brown with the hard top on, heading towards Camberley on the Blackwater bypass at about 12:20.

Second, Mr Rundell himself entering M&S the Meadows car park at 7:49pm this evening.....didn't wave to me:shock:................but then I wasn't in the Stag .

    Summers here

You manage to have conversations? All I seem to get are requests for food, lifts and removal of spiders from bedrooms.

Oh F***! You too with the spiders? Don't know about your experience, but by the time I get into the panicking offsprings room, the 8 legged intruder has run away.... leaving me to move furniture, and never find it......

And when I say conversations, it's more a connected series of grunts really.....

Oh you get connected grunts you should try two teenage boys.

            Phil soon to be TOPAZ

yep - same problem - but got around it by telling her to forget the dance/scream/jumping, run-out-of-the-room responses, tell me there is one, then don't take her eyes off it - the deal is that i'll only removeit if she knows where it is - this avoids the furniture shuffle !

And this doesn't get better with age - the 18yr old is the same !

              cheers..........Andy

Well guys I must be doing something right as my 7 year old daughter removes her own spiders!

But even though she's 7 she has the temperment of a teenager asin VILE!

I hope this pionts towards a possibilty that when she is a teenager she will be sweetness & light! (Yeh right I hear you all say).

You are right there, I've got a 40 year old who screams/panics at spiders.

That's one advantage of working away from home on a regular basis. They can't depend on me to remove spiders, so they soon learn to deal with them.

Plumbing, however! Why do they always leave that 'till I get home?:?Same for car servicing, booking MOTs, etc.

This has been a concern it will be ok tomorrow as the car has the hard top so I should be safe until I remove it.

                            I am looking forward to

                            A) meeting as many of you all as poss Starting with Bromley next weekend

B)asking more stupid questions but more related to keeping TOPAZ (yet to be named) working

                            Phil, not long now
