    B pillar trim

    Hello everyone

Just joined the forum and the info is so valuable and have now purchased my first Stag a nice Mk1 that is sporting a rover v8 but after many years with land rovers I know this engine well.

I am struggling with trying to fit some chrome trims to the B post to protect the padding but am not sure as to the following

Does it rivet to the existing holes in the post trim

    Or

    Do you make new holes

    I welcome your comments

    Regards

    Richard

    Hi Richard,

welcome, they screw to the post, what you could find, like me, the screws could have snapped off and are blocking the hole, i have had a couple like this, i replaced them with stainless, fiddly job but worth the extra effort.

    hope this helps

    Alan

.... right up until the moment when you drop a screw in a box section and can't fish it out with a magnet on a stick !

if you pull a old cd rom drive apart you can find some really powerful miniature magnets around the laser lens i think you know where to find a stick
