I cannot believe my niece has today put up her Christmas Tree!!!

Am I missing something, but we have only just got over Guy Fawkes night, which incidently extended to last night here.

And then she posts it on Facebook!!! It's not as though it's an impressive tree! But please, November 18th???

I love Christmas per sey and I believe December is Christmas month and the start of celebrating, songs, decorations etc., otherwise by the time 25th comes, we're all bored with it, I know it's a personal thing but...............................?

December 1st at the _very_ earliest. Kids get their advent calendars then (as I always did as a kid), so you're allowed to start the countdown to Christmas then, not before. Sorry Jeff I think your neice should be fined.

If I had my way (which I wont, never do) tree up on the 23rd, back down on the 27th, but then I'm a miserable git!!

We've even got to take a small pop up tree to Centre parcs with us on the 3rd!!!

Part of the fun in our house is seeing how long I can resist the trip to the tree barn to get a tree. It's all a bit of a game though I love it all when it starts - but that's rarely before 15 Dec

We put the decorations up anywhere near the 1st , for the last ten years i have decorated not just the outside of my house but my neighbours too , it seemed like a good idea at the time

We put decorations up on Christmas Eve and take then down on 12th Night (Jan 7th) - I have a recollection it was supposed to be unlucky to leave them up any longer. Both our kids (15 and 21 years old) say they prefer it that way.
On a related matter, what Stag-related pressies do people have on their Christmas list?
