I thnk the customised Beetle they use to advertise Lora Park on Tenerife looks better.
I was going to paste an image of it below - but the Insert Image using URL seems to no longer work!?

Anybody else having a similar problem - is it another "gltch" in the system since Vbulletin was last updated???
Just used the testing thread with another image and had same problem.
To temporarily get round it posting a link to the picture as it won't let me insert it directly.

              Hi guys,

Just to 'balance' the thread a little.....there is a serious and fun side to these 'custom' cars. Having recently completed the Screwball Rally see http://www.screwballrally.co.uk/14.html that uses a similar 'customised' vehicle the serious part is to raise funds for charity whilst having a bit of fun driving a 'custom' car to some European destination. We raised in excess of £1000 for charity (the car, petrol and accommodation was paid by us). As there were another 40 or so entrants then this means a sizable sum in excess of £69,000 was raised for various charities whilst having a bit of fun.

Basic rules were a car of value less than £750 that is roadworthy and drive to Asti (Italy) and back in a small number of days. We went for a Volvo 850 estate at £600 bought unseen from EBay. It drove there and back without a fault and then we sold it on. So the outcome was 1,500 miles, five countries and some good fun (yes it does draw the attention of the local constabularies - especially in Switzerland). Our good wives thought we were mad; we thought we were mad.

I guess this car is the product of a similar exercise. Don’t mock it too much as it raises money for a variety of charities and brings a lot of smiles to the faces of those that are passed on the autoroute/autobahn etc.
