Front Seat refurb who supplies

Gent's have not been very active on here recently so hope this finds you well.
I'm considering having my front seats completely refurbed by a local guy who is really quite good. However I want to use the correct original type of vinyl ( Beige )
I have bought carpets etc from Aldride Trimmers and was planning on purchasing all this guy may needs from them.
However I have taken a look at their prices and they seem to have shot up significantly over the years, and it's been a while since I was on their web site.
Who else supplies remanufactured seat vinyl that you could recomend.

Hi Mike. I still use Aldridge in general because their workmanship is very good. They did a good colour match for delft blue recently, and another in cream leather.

But you have to be careful with beige as the colour seems to be difficult to match. In the past they chose a beige which, in my opinion was a poor match for the original, not only colour but grain. However I would hope that they have now sourced a better material, so its worth getting a sample. On price I think you usually get what you pay for, so be careful, but maybe you will get some good recommendations on here. But I have also fitted some good covers thought to be from other suppliers, unfortunately the source was not certain, so I cant help there.

Tip: You can make quite a saving on foams for the front seat backrests if your trimmer is capable of making his own foams.

when you're looking at prices, don't forget that Aldridge prices are all including VAT !

To be honest, I haven't found the increases which you mention. In 2007 I bought seat covers for my Escort and the price today is only 1.06% higher !

The Stag prices for seat covers today are identical to the ones I wrote down from their site at 6:57 pm on 26th January 2011

I find the whole Aldridge set-up very pleasant. On the Escort covers one of the stitching runs was a bit cock-eyed and they replaced it without batting an eyelid. The whole factory is in a timewarp condition - wonder how long that will last .....

OK guys points taken maybe will stick with Aldrige, their carpet set was pretty good with no issues.
