    Off on my Travels

Just a couple of more days and it's goodbye to the Stag for a month when my wife and I head for the other side of the World.
If those of you in the U.K. are fed up of all the wet weather you are currently getting, it's blue skies and sunshine here in Tenerife,
and if one of you were to come over in the next 4 weeks you could look after my Stag for me while I'm away so that it doesn't get lonely.

Hope that those of you who sent in Calendar photos are happy with results - no time to add any more at the moment.
Hopefully post some pics of our trip when we get back - if Carl has fixed the current problem with inserting URL pics by then.
Will also put together an article for the magazine which should contain some pics of New Zealand Stags.

By the way my book "Escape to the Canary Isles" should be available on Kindle through Amazon as from Tomorrow,
and it's got quite a number of car pics in it.

See you on the Forum when I get back, although I may log on in Chester as I am there until the 29th of November when we fly to Australia,
and am back in Chester for Xmas day lunch (my son's birthday) before returning to Tenerife on Boxing Day.

Only offering an alternative Graham, I know quite a few people who are due out next week and prefer to spend Xmas in the Sun.
I shall be having my Xmas lunch in a "Flaming Grill" pub in Boughton, Chester. Very good value considering U.K. prices, and only a few yards walk from where my son lives which means no driving needed and we can drink as much as we like.
My daughter and her family are travelling up from Essex to join us.
Can't beat a good family get together at Xmas - whether it be in the cold or in the warmth.

Have got 3 days in Sydney before boarding our cruise ship.
We have a relative who lives there who is going to meet us and show us round.
Might be too busy in Sydney seeing the sights to log on to the Forum.
However once on board ship I'm sure there will be a few idle moments when I might log on to see what is happening back in the U.K.
In New Zealand am being met by some fellow Stag Owners and have only got 2 days there.
Now to see a Stag on one of the Polynesian Islands we visit would be a find!.

We board the Ocean Princess in Sydney Harbour on the 3rd of December.
In 2009 we were on another of their ships - the Sea Princess on a trip round the Caribbean.
Because we chose Princess Lines a 2nd time - they have already credited our Bar Bill account with $300,
so that takes care of the drinks for the first few days!

Hi there. If you're missing the stag by 2nd Dec let me know and I can give you a ride in mine. I live just the other side of Sydney Harbour Bridge and I'm going to a concert at the Opera House on the evening of the 2nd Dec so can meet up on that afternoon let me know.

This is my first post so not sure how to make contact offline to swap details etc

                        Hi there Maxim,
Thanks for the offer of a meet up on December 2nd, however that is the day a cousin of ours who lives in Sydney is taking us out to see the sights. Her name is Janet Aspinall and she has a couple of hair dressing salons in the Sydney area I believe.
The day after (Dec 3rd) we board the Ocean Princess which will be docked in the Harbour, and the day before we will probably be jet lagged after the long flight from the U.K.
We are booked in at the 4 Seasons Hotel whilst in Sydney which overlooks the Harbour and the Opera House I believe.
Our cruise ship doesn't return to Sydney as we disembark in Tahiti and from there fly home via L.A.

If you are going to the Opera House in your Stag I will look out for it as we will probably be there ourselves at some time on the 2nd.

Welcome to the SOC Forum by the way - it is a great place to be.
