I had a diff that was so noisy as near to be embarrassing. With the hood up you could hardly hear the radio. It was a replacement diff so I was reluctant to change it for another which would be just as noisy. When the BMW Weslake diff came along I decided to go for it despite its cost. It transformed the car and I have been well satisfied with it. I chose to go for the standard ratio.

My Weslake was installed by Faversham. You obviously have to pay them for their labour. The Weslake will fit in without any alteration to the standard rear suspension system. Monarch's were first to fit BMW diffs to the Stag but it was incorporated in their much modified rear suspension system. I am not sure whether this is still the case. Have a look at the Monarch set up on their website www.monarch-stag.co.uk
