it really needs to be a tab that we can add to and not have to search for a thread, that aside hello and welcome, the forum is a bit of a laugh and a great source of info but with your previous we will probably be seeking your advice.

kryten(russ) comes with a similar background but part of his apprentiship was unfurling the red flag

                OK

I'll start of with the tips .

Check the profiles of the top of thewheel arches .Took me a year to notice but one of my rears is different to the others.I've also seen others like this.

Bad rust places are out riggers to the inner sills, boot corners,A posts (open the doors and look behind the rain channels),bottom of rear side panels just behind doors.

                Cheers Steve

                    Hi Polly

My tips were general tips about Stags not TR7 sorry.don't know much about TR7's except my mate had one many years ago and the headlights didn't go up and down very well also if it was left ticking over on a cold day the carbs iced up solid .

Reminds me of my Scouting days, one of the leaders bought a brand new TR7 and after we had all played in it for half an hour or so, one of the headlamps was stuck in the up position. It only had delivery miles too!

as in walking in front of car with red flag, personally i like your green car but as my old headmaster would so often point out I am so very easily led
