Well it just shows a couple of clowns chuck a lit cig into a bucket of petrol with no effect, then they tip it out and light it with a flame and generally arse about.

Good point about heat though, get petrol hot enough with enough air and it will combust, but the cig lighting petrol like you see in the films just doesn't happen.

If you have a little petrol fire like I did on that Corsa you soon learn to take precautions in the future and think more about what your doing

Still won't light with a ciggie, you need a naked flame or a spark.
