Old Stag Pics

The thread on first cars got me looking through my old photos for my first car, an MG Midget. Couldn't find any decent photos but I did find these. The first two pictures are from the National Classic Car Show at the NEC probably 1982 or 1983. Ring any bells??

The next pictures were taken at an SOC Technical Forum somewhere in Norfolk in 1983. We arrived in my wife's MG Midget because that Stag had been stolen and the engine blown up.

Finally a picture of my first Stag a 1976 in Topaz. I think this was taken in about 1984 near Coventry with the SOC Technical Committee trying to make a spare soft top frame and hood fit inside a car with the hard top on! Must have worked as I got it home. I wasn't much into photography back then so I have very few pictures of the car.

Strangely enough, in the mid 70s I looked just like that, slim - dark hair - young !
