Anybody up for a cheeky ale or 2 in the week commencing 17th December? Let me know and I'll think of somewhere we can meet up.
Paul
Late in the week I would hope I might be able to get there.
As in not travelling for work.
After all - even if it snows - I'll ditch the 2WD modern and use the Stag to get there!
I think Jeff is also around and I will call Alan T and Stagdad. Shall we provisionally book Thursday 20th? The Bull in Wargrave does a good pint of Brakspears.

Hi mate, the river was high but we're up the hill a bit so no drama, also finally put some guttering on my garage which has helped a bit. I'll give you a call later this week to talk about LEDs. I've started to play around with them but have a couple of questions. Moving on the 17th? You'll need a beer by the 20th!!!!

Thanks for thoughts Steve, but I live in Sonning Common not Sonning, a few miles further on however the road through Sonning was closed, although a few 4x4 ventured through.
I hope they have other beers to choose from at the Bull as I don't particuarly like Brakspear's bitter, although their special is ok but getting hard to find.
Went to the Reformation in Gallowstree Common on Sunday for a 'refreshment' during a walk and they only had Brakspear's bitter on in the choice of ales, but they did have 7 lagers???and ice cold Guinness, which are ok in the Summer, so opted for a mulled wine, £4.50 for half a glass of red wine mixed with half a glass of hot water and some spices....bah humbug!!
I only do what the voices in my wife’s head tell me to do!
Yes it is, the black timbered one one the Twyford side of the junction. Car park is 100m away, turn left at the lights if approaching from Henley, right if from Twyford.
