Colour choice

The 'sunshine comes to Hampshire' thread is fun and got me thinking...

What is your favourite colour (other than what you have now)?

As for me, current car colour is Sapphire Blue. My alternative would be Magenta (with cream leather interior).

Too many options to do a poll (I'd leave too many out).

My Stag is white with shadow blue interior and I wouldn't want any other colour for it but I think colour choice is car-specific. I have a soft spot for old Rileys and would have one with maroon over cream but that would look daft on anything post-1960 (gets coat while someone else comes on to mention their cream stag with maroon hardtop ... ).

Shame Ian is changing his for brown, not that I dislike brown.

I would like a very very dark green almost black, if anyone does such a colour, with a black hardtop tan leather trim and black minilite wheels.as mine is a resto in progress that is what i am aiming for.

Some of the Royal Family cars are such a colour. There was a Mk2 Granada estate at a show this year that use to belong to the Queen Mum. you would have thought it was Black until you were standing next to it.

Sunshine yellow.
Mine was sienna, now I'm assuming it is signal red but I don't have anything to compare the red colour with or any documentation. It's definately not pimento.
Red does look good with wire wheels though, and I love the look of wire wheels.
The Stag is one of those cars that can carry off almost any colour and still look sharp. I did spray my son's old Honda very very black purple, and that looks good in the sun. Love to do that on an old classic car.

If I was choosing from standard Stag colours I would go for Inca yellow, but don't tell the yellow owners because they are already too full of themselves.
Pimento is the best colour anyway.

Black Stag with red leather trim, or silver with red leather, both would be nice! I actually wanted an Inca Yellow Stag, I had an Inca Yellow MGB before the Stag, I think Ive ended up with the right colour (it's best for me anyway) I have to admit, I like white stags!!

Has to be Topaz with black trim, there is one on here with a picture taken on a beach I believe, stunning!
having said that, mine is Carmine with a beige trim and I chose that over Tahiti. I would have gone with Topaz but it wouldn't match the trim.
