No, seriously, he has got a point but I reckon you could accomodate bigger feet than my puny size 7 by making the shelf slightly less deep.
Lack of oddment space in the car was a real bugbear to me and I'm really pleased with my extra shelf.
Making it was quite fiddly and time consuming but perfectly do-able. Rod, it'll take me quite a time to describe it all so if you can bear with me I'll post something in the next few days.
For me it is probably the best and most useful modification that I have made to my car.

Thanks for the updates Bruce and Julian. I shall look at the pros and cons re the installation of a parcel shelf on the drivers side. I take 8.5 shoes and 29" leg measurement. I did have a couple of Triumph saloons and they had a driver's parcel shelf though there was more room to accommodate it. I'll look forward to your posting Julian.
