First time I have been to this event. (http://www.romsey-classiccarandbikemeet.co.uk/#)
I must admit I looked out of the window at 7.30 this morning and thought I wont be going as it was raining Datsun cogs again, but by 8.00 it had dried up and the Sun was out even had to use the Sun Visor on the way to Romsey.
What a good crowd. It filled the Romsey town centre car parks and I found one of the last places left in the car park, or it would have been it was parking on the road next.
The Mix of vehicles was interesting from "Hot-Rods" to some lovely classics but unless any one else knows different I was the only Stag there.
Met a really nice guy who was a BL dealer in the 70's when the stag came out and yes had all of the usual stories however he did say they weren't as bad as the Jaguars they had serious diff problems and cost a fortune to put right.
May be Brooklands on New Years Day if the weather holds fair.
