well it happened, the BMW, tootling along, car on the opposite carrigeway waiting to turn across in front of me, so this FU--ing stupid, brain dead, halfwit decided to overtake him straight into me, car front end total write off just got back on the back of the recovery truck, SWMBO bruised and stiff neck, police, ambulance, everything, cant believe he was so FUC---g stupid AARRGGGGGGGGGGGGG

want to go back and kill him now

why do they do it, are they so thick!!!!! what would posess a man to do such a thing, putting lives at risk, is a drink more important than life now!!!!!!!

So sorry to hear of your misfortunes and I'm sure I'd feel as mad as you do.

Maybe I'm being thick, but you mention BMW - is that what you were in or were you in your Stag ?

I know it's not a lot of consolation but I always say that you can fix a car but sometimes not people so I'm so pleased that you're both, fairly, ok.

thanks for all the comments, think it's hitting home a bit, Julian, we were in the BMW, good job we were, just realised too, pretensioners went off on the seat belts but no airbags went off? yes we can fix the car thats not important as you say, we are both good now SWMBO is out the bath and feeling better, glad she is, thanks for the kind words guys, getting a bit light headed ooppsss so will say Happy New Year to you all as i now have another very large single malt going down very nicely and quickly as i know it would have been very nasty if it were not for the weather, only time i will thank the rain

thanks for all the comments, we both appreciate them,

we are fine today, SWMBO has bruises, i have a stiff shoulder, all from the pretensioners i think, but thats all.

i will post some pictures later of the BMW, now we have spoken about it looks like the guy had been drinking as the police took him away in their car when there family turned up to collect his wife, and i saw them giving him a ticket and taking a statement from him, we were breathalised, when i did mine and it was zero the police said' oh look zero' his way of telling me the other guy had been drinking i think, the funniest thing was when we hit him, the management system said drive slowly to the nearest BMW agent no sh-t sherlock.

he was driving Vauxhall corsa, ripped his drive shaft out, wheel off, and panel damage, it will be a write off, it took 4 of us to get it out of the junction, all he said was Sorry, that was it one word, not been out to the BM yet, at least the lad who was waiting to turn into the junction stayed with us and passed on all his details to us and the police, he said he nearly drove into the back of him a couple of times when he was following him down the road, it was national speed limit, but i had slowed because of the rain and the road was sopping wet, i was covering the brake anyway because of the junction and people waiting to turn in and out, you never know, good job i did, think that saved us a little

Pleased your both OK, this thoughtless twerp needs to be taught a lesson, I hope the Old Bill throw the book at him....I'm ranting I know but this sort of behaviour make my blood boil !! just been out to take these, all pushed back into the engine, even though the bumper has bounced back out, rad is in the engine, crash bar well and truly dented, from what i can see its all the front end, still we were safe inside, still foxed as to why the airbags have not gone off at all though.
