    Top Tip number 301.

If you don't use the Stag for a while, don't forget to check the washer fluid and I don't mean the level, especially at this time of year.

When mine was laid up for a long while, the filter in the bottle gunged up and refused to pump hence a very dirty and dangerous windscreen, luckily my friend drove in front of me and regularly squirted his car and with me close behind (not recommended) the overspray went on to me.
I only do what the voices in my wife’s head tell me to do!

I used to have the same problem living in Canada. My VW ( Totally under engineered for the climate) had no functioning washers all winter - frozen up. I would end up trying to get slush thrown up by cars in front o n the highway to keep the windscreen clear! The window winders were frozen up all winter too. Embarrassing at toll booths and potentially quite dangerous. The heater wouldn't keep ice off the INSIDE of the windscreen at -30 C.
