Anyone else looked at the letters in the latest Classics Monthly issue? I got a subscription courtesy of SWMBO for Xmas-delighted to read JL's tale of the 135 badge

It was a complete surprise to me as I never intended it for publication - it's just that the mag's reference to a 135hp Sprint engine was the first I'd ever heard that could corroborate my story so I just wrote to Gary, the editor, to share my story with him.

To get it published, and to win the star prize, was amazing

Cheers Martin - although a friend of mine won their 'star letter prize' a couple of years ago and told me he had to chase them two or three times for his 'thank you' !

As an aspiring writer myself, I'm looking forward to seeing my debut novel out in April. The main character drives a Stag so I'm allowed to mention it on the forum...
