Wool carpets

I'd like to replace my carpets with a wool set, I see Aldridge aren't listing this now, Wards show out of stock and Paddocks only do tufted for the Mk2. Has anyone tried Danbury Car Carpets? they are on eBay here

dont think they ever did wool for the mk 11

got my mk1 in blue all ok last year from them

I got wool ones from Aldridges for my Mk2 - I think they were listed as for the Mk 1.

I don't think there is any difference in the shape etc, it's just that Triumph moved from wool on the Mk1 to tufted on the Mk2.

I gave Aldridge a ring a while back on exactly the same subject: absolutely no problem for them to do a Mk2 set in wool.

Just one suggestion Ian - when I spoke to Simon Aldridge, he offered me either the conventional felt type backing or one that had a rubberised coating which is the one I went for and I am very pleased with it.

I reckoned that it would prevent the carpet from soaking up any water that got in to the car although I know that others felt at it might be harmful as it would hold the water against the floorpan.

I still reckon I made the best choice.
