Felt make some good bikes, if you can find out what rims he has and type of tyres, take off the tyres and check for any sharps in the rim and that the rim tape is covering all the spoke holes, other than that correct tyre pressure is essential. if its a road bike it should be about 110 psi in the rear and around 100 in the front, atbs have a much lower tyre pressure depending on terrain, where does he live I may be able to recommend a shop for him to get some advice.
Kevin, its my stag that leaks oil not my T160.If it aint coming out of the rear crankcase oil seal or the oil transfer housing any ideas where?
Sorry, I actually like old Triumphs really, but an old British bike isn't on a realistic wish list for me.
I've heard that the half-moons on the cam covers can leak and then the oil runs down the back of the block. Perhaps a steam clean will reveal where fresh leaks are coming from?

Nick, he got the bike from your sought of way,I think it was Woking.
When he went to pick it up he got diverted off of the M25 due to an accident, three weeks later he gets a letter to say he went through a congestion charge area in the diversion and has to pay a fine.He was not HP.
His quite close to Cambridge which tends to cater a lot for bikes.
