Hi Keeny.
Its not a manual pedal rubber its defo an auto brake rubber but my pedal is way wider not sure whats going on.
The pedal is just over 5 1/2 inches wide.
Did your padal have a rubber on it and if so is there a part no on it.Sorry but my stag is an manual so i carnt measure the pedal for you but im sure someone on here will be able to help
Good luck with this
Keeny
It just seems to be an old rubber glued on no outer edges to it and cant pull it off its so glued down and if i was to chip it off and the rubber wont fit and will be left with a slippy metal surface.
My question has to be are there 2 sizes for the auto brake pedal ?
When someone mesures the width of there auto stag brake pedal for you it will confirm whether your's is the standard size or whether it has been modifed to make it wider a some point, which i suspect may well be the case
Thanks for the info just had feel and can feel behind the pedal and feels like a weld seam on the left side making it a bit longer for some reason. how strange someone would do this. Bugger
Now I am up the creak and can not fit the new pedal rubber and more than likely wont get one to fit it.
Changing the pedal isn't a difficult job. A bit hard on the knees, but otherwise fairly simple. 2nd hand pedals should be easy to source through Martin at Justriumph or Robsport, etc.

Cheers Dave.
I might do that at a later date or I was thinking of cutting the extra piece out along the weld
But will leave at moment as lots of other stuff to do and the weathers not kind for working outside.
One word of warning if you do cut it off with a grinder which is what i would do btw.Protect anything glass when grinding,Sparks will eat it for breakfast.I ruined a windscreen once by grinding something on an old viva and the sparks hit the glass which made the outside like sandpaper which then shredded the wiper blades.
