Carfest 2013

The wife done well this morning without me knowing got week end tickets for 2013 carfest south, has any one else got tickets for this year.
Did anyone go last year and how was the week end,sounds a really good event.

Yes we went as a family to Carfest North last year, fantastic weekend, great for kids loads for them to do, great for dad, petrol head heaven, great for mum, fantastic food and music. It was win, win and win.
We camped outside a few miles away. As a family no good not having the car next to the tent, and no hookup.

This year we are on holiday for Carfest North, but instead the Mrs has bought weekend family tickets for the South instead over the bank holiday. As last year, we have booked a proper camp site a few miles away.

It really is something to look forward too.

Went to the south last year, rained all day Saturday but Sunday was fine. Excellent show and even with the rain its must on the events list for 2013.

Entirely without consulting me (mainly because I spend half my time out of the country anyway) - 'Er indoors bought two tickets.
But not content with that - she's now entering the car (and us) for the show in the hope we get in for free.
In which case - that will be two tickets looking for a new home
