Aahhh..! Now I get it.., so its just the 'yellow ones' that command such a high price..! (..because everybody 'really' wants one..!)

Fair play then.., take it all back - worth every penny....

I prefer to think of my car as "blonde".
Header tanks - you can't beat a bit of bling.

One of the Stag owners I met in New Zealand recently had a nice collection of models, including a number of Stags in all colours except yellow.
He and his wife had 2 Stags, a (sapphire) blue and a (carmine) red one. He also owned a Jag.

Andrew - I think you may need to go to Specsavers - my post is about the collection of models held by New Zealand Stag owner Ian Skene - not mine - I only have a white dinky toy Stag and a "peuter" one on a plinth.

We only have yellow ones on the South Island like this one in a recent NZ Classic Car mag.

But I didn't see a single yellow one on North Island, only 2 carmine reds, an "orangy" red one, a bright red one, a pale green one, a french blue one, a sapphire blue one, and was also introduced to an owner with a BRG one. Perhaps there is something of a North & South colour divide in New Zealand, similar to the North & South divide in the U.K. which covers more things than just colours!
Come to think of it haven't seen a yellow one in Tenerife either, only Red, White, and Blue. I think a yellow one in Tenerife would soon be turned white by the Sun, perhaps the climate has something to do with it?

A three tone Stag, that's unusual.

                          Must be an ex pat.
I only do what the voices in my wife’s head tell me to do!

Nothing like making a spectacle of yourself.
