    Best indoor cover..?

    Hi,

When I get my Stag back from its respray, I will need to protect the lovely shiny paintwork with a good indoor cover.

    I've been looking at this-

I will need something with a bit of 'padding', as I have kids going in/out the garage on bikes etc, etc.(I also get some delivery companies leaving parcels on the car etc)

Has anybody got one these covers? or can you recommend an alternative?

I am fortunate that my garage is very dry etc, so I don't really think I would need the whole 'carcoon' type thing..!

    Cheers

looks very good, why not give them a call to see if they would send you a sample of the fabric its made out of,then you can feel how thick it is.Also try a company called classic editions there covers are very good to.someone posted a photo of there stag on here about four weeks ago (it hade a classic editions on it)

I have Classics Editions fitted to my other car in the garage its really soft fleece inside so wont scratch if put on a clean car.But would not say it has thick padding not sure you would find a cover thats really thick padded.

I use Hamilton covers. Thicker than others and cats can jump all over them without scratching the paintwork. So, they might also be kidproof.

Hi Jer. I would check with Andy (or his painter) as I did read somewhere, possibly on here, that it is not good practice to use a cover on a newly painted car. At least for a few months. This might not apply to modern paint systems, but better to check.
