        Hi Edd and Malcolm,

Quite understand - we'll catch up later.

Malcolm, I do hope your recovery continues well - at least you're home

          Hi Julian
Might try to get to it. It'll give her a few more running in miles if nothing else. After all it's not that far from Worcester!

            Hi Richard,

It'd be great if you can make it. If you want a good reason for more running in miles and you don't want the motorway, then it's a nice simple run - A38 to Bristol and A37 to the Showground.

However, I should warn you that IMO this is not the finest of shows It's mainly Mini plus an Autojumble. I enjoy going to it but I like my Minis (although nothing like as much as my Stag!) and it's nearby and cheap ! TBH I probably wouldn't drive 80 miles just for the show. But, if you're looking for a good excuse for a run in the Stag then come on down

Although I have zero faith in the Met Office, they're predicting good weather for the Saturday, when I'm going, and, unless it absolutely tips down - or snows again - I'll be taking my Stag and Glenn (Seaking) is planning to come in his as well.

If you decide to come then please feel free to give me a ring and we can meet up for a coffee. I'm on 07831 363237.

            Hope to see you there.

            Cheers

            Julian

                  Hi Julian

Just ordered tickets. The long range forecast (if it can be believed!) is better for Saturday, so I'll go then as well.
It'll be good to meet up for a chat, my number is 07788 895329.
Next thing is - anyone else around Worcester want to come as well? - The ticket is for entry for 2 and the other one will just be wasted otherwise.

                  Richard

Hope you enjoy the show but don't drop too much litter - we've got the contract for cleaning the showground after shows!!

                    Cheers

It was great to meet Richard and to catch up with Glenn again earlier today Some interesting viewing and I hope you enjoyed meeting Kim Henson and the others.

Hope you got back ok Richard. I heard you go past me when I was stopped at a shop and your exhaust didn't sound too bad !

Thanks Glenn for the secret spoiler and for spotting the bulbholders for me.

                        Cheers

                        Julian.

                          Hi Julian

It was good to meet you and Glenn yesterday and put a couple of faces to names. I agree that there were some interesting things to see there and people to meet. Got back eventually - albeit on the back of a low loader! a couple of miles short of Michaelwood Services the car filled with smoke! Seems the rainbow around my car was from me after all - the pipe for the oil pressure gauge had split and thrown oil all over the place, fixed that, but it was also leaking from the joint between the filter housing and the pump. Seeing as the level on the dipstick was already on minimum and the leak was obviously getting worse the RAC agreed to recover me back home.

Nevermind, at least that's 2 things now to sort out - it's always nice to have plenty to do!

Thanks for an otherwise good day

                          Richard

                            Hi Richard,

So sorry to hear about the low loader but at least you got back ok.

Well, your exhaust didn't beat you and you picked up on the oil leak before a major disaster so things could have been much, much worse

                            All the very best.

                            Julian
