Nothing yet, but I am told today is yet another local "Fiesta" day, so no post - hopefully will get it next week sometime.
PS to wb50 - Postmen are not allowed to be ill - after I retired I spent 5 years working as a Relief Rural Postman in North Wales (sometimes in a little red van, sometimes in a bloody big one), and I never had a single day off work ill - it was very much frowned upon, but if a Postman was really ill, a colleague would work a double shift to cover for it, delivering 2 rounds instead of one, I know
I had to do this myself on occassions.

I was given the sack lots of times, but it wasn't full of presents - just lots of packets and parcels for somebody else.
The very first job I ever had was in a Bank, then I worked in the Private Sector as a trainee Cost Accountant, before spending nearly 30 years in I.T. (although it was called Computing in the 60's and 70's).
However the most enjoyable (if not the best paid) job of all was working as a Rural Postman from 1999 to 2004, despite having to get up at 3am in the morning 6 days a week.
I saw some sights I could tell you, and knew who got their publications in plain brown envelopes, but getting bit quite a
few times by some nasty dogs, and chased by geese and cattle wasn't very nice. Fittest job I ever had though.

We get post six days a week but NZ Post are suggesting it be reduced to three times a week 'cause nobody mails anything any more. Needless to say no Mag on the South Island yet.

Just to say my copy arrived in Tenerife today (4th Feb) not bad at all and better than my Occupational Pension which gets paid the last day of each month, but hasn't yet been credited to my Tenerife Bank Account!
Those Bankers hold onto your money for as long as possible before allowing you to have use of it!.

If Terry gets it, that means everyone's got theirs
