    Glovebox Bulb

    Hi all,

My glovebox bulb doesn't work, so I'm going to replace it. I pulled off the cover, but the bulb's so small and in a fiddly position I can't tell if it's a pull out or screw out one. The ROM just helpfully says "remove bulb"!

    Can anyone advise....?

    Cheers,

    Bob

It's a bayonet fixing - identical to the one in the brake warning light (at least on later models). If you can get them in there, pointed nose pliers may help you push and turn. They usually come out fairly easily.

Unipart number used to be GLB 281.

    Cheers

    Julian

Spot on Julian. However I have since discovered that it was a sticky switch not the bulb! Gave the switch a good wiggle and it's all working again now.

I have also replaced the festoon bulbs in the puddle and T bar lights with LED ones - they shine a lovely ice white now

      Cheers,
