If you have any Video Editing software you could use that - Video Editors let you create/copy a still image from any video it can read.
I use AVSVideo Editor so could offer to do the same as StagnJag.

          Hi Martin,

If you pause the video, go fullscreen and then press the 'print screen' key you can then paste the image in to Paint.

Then you can crop and resize as required. For instance:

          Untitled.jpg

If often take a picture of the screen with my phone camera although I use it only for reference when i'm at my workshop the quality is surprisingly good.

If you are referring to a Samsung Galaxy Tab2 - I didn't know that - but the one my son & daughter bought me at Xmas is still in it's box,
haven't had time to try it out yet - apart from charging it up.

Screenshot_2013-02-13-23-55-11.jpgMine is a Tab 1 64gb, running Android 4. A Tab 2 would be running the same, 4th button from the left on the toolbar will grab anything on the screen as a jpeg. Very useful. This is a quick grab from a youtube vid, took me longer to pick a vid than make the grab

Thanks for the info - really must start using mine - I'm due back in the U.K. soon, so I'll take it with me and start experimenting, will be a lot easier than carrying a PC backwards & forwards as part of my limited hand luggage.

In case anyone don't Know you can do the same on an Iphone, just press the power button (at top) and menu button simultaneously
and it will save the image on the screen as a picture in photos. Don't know about an Ipad but may be the same.

A lot of Android phones will do it by holding the power button, and pressing the Home button/key - definitely works on my HTC One X
