Turning engine upside down - quick question!

Mornin' all!

To attach the sump I'm looking at turning the engine upside down on the rotating engine stand.

Is there anything untoward which could transpire? I'm thinking of things like tappet shims falling out of the valve collar recesses or whatever.

Put the cams in Drew and you'll be fine

Nothing to stop you turning it upside down as far as I can see...

Thanks for the quick response. I've turned it upside down now and nothing went "tinkle" !!
