Is It just me??

I have today ordered the parts to change the front anti roll bar bushes on the Stag. Having gone through the short list I had prepared, I asked if there was anything else they could think off that I might need to which the answer came back, " you will probably need the nuts and washers for the U clamps". Is it me? surely, does not a U clamp without said items render it useless as a clamp? In all the years I have bought these they have always come with the nuts and washers. Obviously, the fact that they can be removed gives the opportunity to charge seperately for each item. I would hate to be doing a new exhaust through this supplier!!

According to them that done things proper, you're only meant to use nylock nuts, once therefore presumabely their response reflects this.

That's true John so even more reason to supply them with the u-bolt I would have said

I must say, when we buy bolts, they don't come with washers or nuts

u bolts or any other sort of bolt dont come with nuts unless asked for.... surely. If you are buying a "clamp kit" then the clamp the bolt and nuts and washers should be supplied as required
