    National Day 2013 Question

    Hi Andrew,

On the Saturday evening I might sample a glass of local ale or 2 so my question is, will the site be secure overnight enabling those who want to, to leave their cars there for the Sunday.

Ian, this is a very good question. i cant guarantee anything but can tell you that the public are not allowed overnight where we are and its a provate hire. Wether you can trust all Stag Owners is another thing. I have to say no there isnt secure parking, but on the other hand, you are free to park your car up and it is a secure airfield. Thats all I can say really, sorry. None of us are going to sleep over the weekend, so there will be someone around and on site.

    Cheers
    Andrew

Hi Ian, when we pop back to The Bell to change, we could cab to the site and back. Martin.

As a general rule, dogs are not allowed near airfields, for very good reasons. Of course there may be an exception when there's no flying. This affects a few folk and an answer would be appropriate, any thoughts Andrew ?

I thought North Weald was an emergency landing point for Stanstead and could be called upon, best not to park on the runway unless you can do a Le Mans start.( Stand to be corrected though, & probably will)
