    Hardtop off - yippeeee!

Spring is in the air and the hardtop came off today for the last time this winter. Roll on summer! Bruce

It bloody rained here. First time since Feb 5th and that was about the only rain this year. Still the farmers will moan slightly less for a short while!

How do you manage with 4 days of rain a year

Some parts of the South Island get 12-18 metres of rain a year. In Canterbury we're in the rain shadow of the Southern Alps so we only get about 600mm/year. But some of all those metres of rain falling on the Southern Alps flow our way across the Canterbury Plains.

Me too, Bruce. Got my speedo and voltmeter back this week, new lights fitted, instrument lighting improved and went out yesterday for a run up to the Cat & Fiddle. A bit nippy at times, but great to get out for the first time this year. Ran beautifully. Big grins.
