Fit a second one the other sideBonnet releace back up.jpg
But if you havent done that i have heard stories of a long stick waved around or send a small boy in there.
All in favour of the second cable idea. If you look low down on the O/S inner wing, there's a hole for passing a hooked rod through to get at the lock, though without being able to see, I don't see how it can work, I know at least one Stag owner, who has fixed a pull rod from the lock through this hole. Martin.

The fuse box fixings are accessible From behind the parcel tray, two self tappers.
this leaves a rectangular hole about 200mm from the bonnet catch.
The lever will move if pushed as it is operated by the sleeve not the cable.
Some sort of push stick offered through from the passenger footwell would be able to do it.
It would be handy to have another Stag nearby with the bonnet open to aid the task..

Good idea Doug, but I'd rather have the battery disconnected before removing the fuse box ? Martin.

Can't help thinking a second cable is easier if you want to eliminate the risk.
