    Stainless Steel Caliper Pistons......

    Does anyone know of any suppliers that sellStainless Steel pistons for our standard brake calipers ? I need to overhaul mine and was planning on using SS ones, i know they are widely used on minis/mg's and many motorcycles....

    I was talking to one of our local members who has a TR6 as well as a Stag. He told me (and I haven't checked this) that the Stag and TR6 use the same pistons, even though the calipers are different. SS pistons are available from TR6 parts suppliers. He has them in his Stag.

      Hi Andy,

      Big Red Calipers use stainless pistons in standard calipers they may be able to help.

          Checked Rimmers website. They list 2 different TR6 pistons, but a totally different part number for the Stag ones. May be worth making further enquiries before committing. I will contact my informant and get further details.
