Anyone near Ashford with a 7/16 UNF Tap?

I'm trying to put some seatbelt anchor points in the back of the Stag.
Got one in but the wheel arch is going to need a tap run through it.
Is there anyone near Ashford or Canterbury that would lend me one for a day?

Are you saying that you're got the anchor points but the thread just needs cleaning up ?

If so, and in the apparent absence of anybody near to you with one, why not try cutting two grooves in a bolt, in line with the bolt, and then using that carefully as a thread clearing bolt. I've had success with just that on a number of occasions.

If you need a first cut or plug one they are the same price. I have one you could borrow but it would cost that much to post both ways I would have thought.

Thanks all. I have managed to get a bolt through it but the thread is rounded when I take it out so it seems to need a tap to clear it out.
I've looked at Ebay but want to get the job done and can't wait for unreliable post!
