Strange thing in the Sky

Just had this strange thing in the Sky over South London for about 10 minutes. it was round, bright, yellowish and radiated heat. Anyone know what it was

Completely agree with you Graham, but it was nice to get a bit of rain the other day, saved me having to go to the car wash to get rid of the sand on my Stag.
