We had our monthly LPG delivery today and one of the guys on the truck asked if I still had my Stag as he would like to show it to his new colleague. I showed them into the garage and uncovered the car for them to see.
While they were looking around the car the guy said, "A mate of mines girlfriend had one of these when they were new" I thought, here we go again! but he added, "she won it in a competition, she was a model and was given it as a reward for being Australian Penthouse Pet of the year!"
The only thing I could say in reply was, "I bought mine second hand, I don't look that good naked!"

That stag sits really nice or in American Hotrod terms "It has a great Stance!!"

I like the way it sits level and the wheels and tyres fill the arches.

Is it lowered (I assume it is) and what set up are you running on it.

Thanks for the compliment, It is polybushed in all the usual places, Koni shocks all round, Tony Hart 1 1/2" lowered springs and 15" TR6 chrome wire wheels with Pirelli 195/65 R15 tyres. I had to roll the lips of the wheel arches to accommodate the change in wheel diameter and offset. I've also got Datsun drive shafts fitted, not that it affects the stance but they help it go around corners better! regards,Raoul

It looks really nice Raoul - there are lot a Stags about that seem to ride high at the front and look terrible imo.

I really like how your Stag sits and i bet it improves the handling big time.

Yes it does go well round the corners! Well enough to get some passengers kicking out for their imaginary brake pedal! I've just fitted the Monarch rear disk kit and have a ventilated disk kit waiting to go on the front. So it should stop a bit better too in the near future!

Looks lovely and I've often wondered why TR6 wheels are not used more often being 15" as standard - the offset is not a million miles out is it..?
From the look of it the slight increase in width is similar to running the 14" minilites I have but 6" wide.
