SORN to be permanent until you tell them otherwise.....

As posted in the road tax thread but thought it worth a separate one, page 86 of the attached pdf. No more annual form filling for long term restorations.......

    Cheers, Keith.

yes good news for those of us with tax exempt and future tax exempt cars but can't say i like the bit about VED being increased on April 1st by the RPI yet when any increases to state pension/benefits etc these are always based on the CPI- a lower percentage!! hmmm very crafty me thinks.

Yes - increase now, but extension of Historic Tax cut off date next year

Checking the RPI tables online, the latest figure I can find is 2.8%, so the Stag (£220) will increase by £6.16. Now will that be rounded down to £225 or up to £230? I think I can guess.............

My Audi is currently £30 per year, so this should increase to £30.84. Yeah right!

Would you expect anything less It's always the way, It's too difficult to implement something like this sooner but other things are from 6pm that night in the past Not seen a news yet so not fully up to date with whats changed.

                Hi Dave,

Unless I misread or misunderstood it, yes it says now vehicles manufactured before 1st jan 1974. Not a massive change though!
