Mini Roundabout; Funny Incident

I was approaching a mini roundabout today, and there was a van to my left, and a woman in a small car to my right. I waited for her to move but she was waiting for the van. He was watching me to see if I was going to go, but must have seen I was watching her. Nothing was happening so I sensed my opportunity and took off. It seems that the van driver had the same idea which was fine except that the woman also decided to go after he had started. The timing was perfect as she made a perfect job of blocking his way, so he stopped suddenly, and was now blocking my way. He threw up his arms in frustration as if to say "silly cow", and at that moment I just burst out laughing. I dont think I have ever been involved in a mini roundabout deadlock like this.

Isn't this exactly the purpose that mini roundabouts serve, to confuse everyone?

Saying that, it does make it easier for the rest of us .

I always go first, can't wait to see if the others will. I am usually driving a 7.5t lorry or big 4x4 though!

I did, but everyone else had the same idea exactly at the same time. I cant believe that it never happened like that in all these years. It just made me laugh.
