To keep the rolling radius the same (assuming your car came with 185R14s (an 80 profile tyre) 195/65R15 (quite a common size) and 205/60R15 (what I run on mine) should do the job well.
However, the above depends on what size your car came with. Some say that later cars came with 175R14s, in which case 195/60R15 (again, another common size used on many a repmobile) should see you straight.

I have 195/65 x 15 on mine and the speedo reads about 2mph fast, so not far out. Mine is a very late car so I believe was supplied with 175x14 tyres. Someone once told me that this is because late Stags were built on the 2000 line and went over to 175 to standardize sizes and make assembly quicker. No idea if that is true...

The final Stag brochure says tyres were Michelin XAS 175 HR 14 or Avon 185 HR 14 - the 2500S Saloon and Estate had the 175 x 14 Alloys but the 2000TC and 2500 TC looks to have had 13 inch steel rims; so it would make sense that the last Stags shared their wheels and tyres with the 'S' Saloons.

My 1970 saloon PI had 13in wheels but they were steel with rostyle hubcaps. I don't think the Stag type alloys had been introduced then. Another tyre calculating site is www.mintylamb.co.uk Does anyone know the Stag alloy wheel offset figure?
