3 June - Moor to Moor Run

Anybody planning to do the SOC Dartmoor to Exmoor run on 3 June? Apparently 100 car entry so should be a good event, especially if the weather is kind. Mechanical bitswilling, I'll be there with PSW 2S and Mrs Seaside Bill - it would be nice to put a face (and car) to some of the Forum regulars.

Where are you all staying overnight? I'm a bit late getting my act together (as usual)and seems local places are all full. I'm close enough to travel down on the morning, but a night of wine and good food beforehand is appealing

          Bill,

Ientered months ago, but due to a change in job location I may have difficulty getting home that weekend. Still working on that one as I really do want to go.

              Steve,

This is not an anuual event. Down here in Devon, we like to support the Devon Air Ambulance occasionally. We organised a similar run 4 years ago (Coast-to-Coast - South Devon to North Devon) and over 100 cars entered 2/3rds of them Stags.

This year its Dartmoor to Exmoor. No idea when we will do something similar again, but when we do, it will be well publicised. We are now turning away entrants as, again, there are over 100 confirmed and we can't cope with more than this.

Earlier this week I was getting quite excited that this might the first major event of the year that I'd been on without thecompany of peeing rain. However, just seen the latest weather forecast for the w/end and guess what........ yes, it's going to pee down on Sunday!
