Who Does Leather Covering?

I have stripped the dash and centre consul down to their bare shells....Can any of you recommend a quality business/craftsman to recover them in leather?

Andrew, with your skills, I reckon you could probably do it yourself .

I was pleasantly surprised at how reasonably priced leather was on Ebay and I've got a sample from one of the suppliers. I'm thinking of doing mine in leather one day.

I seem to remember one of the chaps on here had his whole interior and if I remember correctly, his roof as well, he has a blue car I think...but it's so long ago since I asked him who did the work.

I seem to remember that the re-upholsteres generally prefer the dash and centre console unstripped!

Don't forget to supply a sample set of the wood dash inserts to make sure they will fit, although problems only usually arise when adding additional layers on top of the old, so you should be OK.

I made some enquiries a year or so ago to a trimming company in Norfolk.Husband and wife team and IIRC she used to trim for Lotus..

I also seem to recall some forum members had there cars done and were very happy with the quality and price..

i bought leather of ebay and recovered my brothers centre consnsul,( i left the original covering on ) easy to do but take your time, or S E trimmings will do a dash and consul
