Not Stag related - Jaguar instead

Since selling my last Stag project to a fellow member on here I have been concentrating on getting my Dads Jag painted and re- fitted up and thought i would post a few pictures of it

    It's a 4.0ltr Sovereign model with the straight 6 engine (X300 model)

It was painted on Friday and i was there all day fitting it up on Saturday with my dad and hope to get it back tomorrow all being well.

Here's mine. Nice cars but sadly with little current value!

          Cheers,
          Mike.

Yes they are low at the moment but my dads one has only done 65K and he is going to keep hold of it as he is nearly 70 and in 5- 10 years it should be worth a few quid i hope, not that we would sell it though

We are looking at getting different wheels for it now and i think the Celtic's will suit it like the wheels on this later model

Dad dosen't like the original KIWI wheels like the ones on the jag above - i like them though

I don't have any plans to sell mine either - unless I change it for a later XJR that is! I've had it since 2005 and it's now done just over 91k. It's generally accepted that they're good for 200k so your Dad's is just about run in!

They are so nice and comfortable to drive too.

Good luck with the refit. It certainly looks nice in it's new coat!

                  Cheers,
                  Mike.

I keep looking at XJR's myself mike - they look lovely in black with the Penta alloys and are really affordable. I don't feel quite old enough for one yet though

My dads had this one since about 2005 or 2006 - He had a XJ40 Sovereign before it and a Series 3 Sovereign first of all.
