I would exercise caution if wanting to contact previous owners. I was about to do this but fortunately used the Internet first. Every one of the previous owners, except the one I bought it from, is now deceased. I thought I was ok with the original owner as the BT website still lists her as being at the address in the V5 history, but a Google search on her name revealed her obituary from April 2012.

Google revealed that the second owner had a transport business - Bennett's of Frome, and the 3rd & 4th owners were husband and wife and also company directors in Frome.

These cars are now at least 35 years old and were quite expensive when new. Many of the early owners would have been middle-aged, so are now likely to be in their 80's or older. The original owner of mine was 82 when she died last year.

My quest to find any early history has now ended........ Dave Dave
