T Wiper Switch.

Can any of you tell me what the wiper stalk does when you flick it away from you or pull it toward you??

If it's a Mk 2 then away from you should be off, whilst towards you should be intermittent wipe.

Thank you very much Julian...we have fitted a new main wiring loom in and don't know all the answers yet! The new wiring loom has a fault in the wires going in to the fuse box, there are several green wires used and they are incorrect...at the moment the green wire that is supposed to go to the wiper motor actually goes to the ignition, thus we can operate the wiper motor with the light switch!! 'Kin annoying when this new loom cost about 350 quid...It should be right!! Any way rant over, thanks for your reply.

Sounds like an interesting challenge Andrew

You mention a fault in the wires going to the fuse box so I don't know if these pics might give you any help at all.

If it is Mk1, it gives a flick wipe when you pull it towards you. No intermittent on Mk1.
