Thanks to John on 1st April in forum I have found where the overflow pipes are supposed to go.For the 8 years I have had my Stag both pipes were routed to the vee. There has never been any petrol discharge to the vee but now there is no way it can happen.I have fitted a tee to both overflow pipes and now the overflow tube is down the engine front as it was supposed to be. Thanks to the forum and the members who helped.
My Stag is a 1975 Mk.2 with B/W35 Auto,White with genuine Triumph engine. Its done now 248000Kms(154000Miles) and yesterday fitted the hard top ready for our winter. The car is used every week and returns 26/27 MPG using 95 octane petrol and still with Strombergs.
