I Hate MOT inspections

Hi All

I didn't expect to eat my words quite as quickly

"Sorry if I sounded a bit smug (TOPAZ has arrived) but its been a good day

I can still fall" quoted in arbmans topless dreaming earlier.

TOPAZ has just failed its MOT:X

Front suspension, Rear tyres, and issues with Hydrocarbons (unburnt Fuel). Have left itin the care ofFaversham Classics should be ready mid next week.

Got mine next tuesday my be selling the dog on e bay to pay for it . just had my ford M O T ed today that passed so thats one down one to go

Mine's due on the 15th July - I do know the headlamps are misaligned, but I'm hoping for a pass apart from that.......otherwise it's spark up the compressor and get into some grubby clothes......

Like you guys mine was in the middle of the summer ,I bit the bullet last year and re MOT'ed it when it still had 6 months left but now it's done in the winter when i'm not worried about having it off the road for a while.Much better:P.

Like you I was disappionted to have it now but us newbies have to take what we find I had hoped to get to the spring before needing to spend such big money. At least Faversham are going to give the car a though look over and form an action plan for any further work. I didn't expect miracles and yes I know its an old car but 2 weeks fells a bit harsh.

Still when the moneys gone I can forget and return to enjoying the car

Sorry to hear of your mot probs,didn't john C sell it with a new MOT then? Howevercar looks good and it's probaly at one of the best Stag garages in the country, so will come back much better. Maybe meet up sometime as I'm "just next door" so to speak.

No John didn't probably my fault. Not too worried really as as you say I think the car is a good one when its done its done and I will feel better about it

more than happy to meet up sometime. Just had two Stag owners contact me they both live in Cheriton haven't meet up yet

I take it that you work at the B & O dealers in ~#+*%stone (Sorry not allowed to say the F word as I'm a Dover Athletic fan) only mentioned it as I checked out the B & O range before getting a Phillips Ambilight system.

Got it one, I have a few second hand tube sets that I need to move on. More urgent nowas I have hospital fees to find for sick TOPAZ.
