So not at the co-ordinators meeting at Gaydon then Martin? Saw Carl Fuss there and a few other faces I thought I recognised...
No mate, Steve Kiefer starts the meeting, saying that it's for the co-ordinators, then proceeds to take over, and I'm sick of his anti-forum prejudice. Martin.
Not a lot of point travelling for a one-sided meeting I suppose - judging by some I saw there they may be some support for anti-forum views, or at least the forum as it stands.... I suspect you can guess who...
My first outing in my newly restored car was to Brooklands in 2010 for the first leg of the stuffed puppet going round the country.
I was parked next to the person Martin mentioned when there was a call for everyone to stand by the front of their cars for a photo by someone who had set up a gantry. just at the point when the photographer was about to start shooting, said person shouted "wait a moment" and then let the hand brake off on his car and rolled it forward about 2ft obscuring mine and others. What a total W****r .
Funniest thing is the pictures that were used for the Mag were the ones from another angle so he missed out completely
Ian.

Poor timing is the story of my life. Such as yesterday.... been planning my birthday meal at the DC6 Diner at Coventry airport for ages - drove 130 miles, booked at a fab hotel, the Coombe Abbey, where unfortunately mobile reception is not existent, so we head out last night from the hotel, get a phone signal to get voice mail saying their kitchen is unserviceable and they are closed... Bugger!
Try finding a decent meal on a Saturday night in a strange area and you havent booked.. the hotel had 2 weddings on so no restaurant there, so fun was had getting fed...
Happily we found a diamond in the rough in Leamington and had a fabulous meal despite the outside of the pub lookibg decidedly doggy. .
